(morning of the induction. Don't mind my double chin. I'm a week overdue, okay?)
can turn into this..... We went into the hospital and 6:30 AM last Thursday and at 10:33 PM this little man came into the world
Giving birth was unlike anything I imagined and was something almost unexplainable.
It was such special experience.
The day after Cooper was born I kept saying to Colin,
"that was really hard. I can't believe I did that."
And I still can't believe that I grew this little boy and brought him into the world.
We are so lucky that he was born healthy and so perfect.
I still just look at him in amazement.
I feel like my life completely changed in the last week.
It has been quite the adjustment.
This little boy just wants to eat and eat.
It's funny how something so small can rule your life.
But I'm okay with that.
I just want to stare at him and snuggle him all day long.
It's crazy that we are parents now and while it feels weird it also feels natural.
Colin has taken to be a daddy very well and I feel like I might be getting a hang of the mommy thing.
Here is some pictures of my little guy.
My sweet friend Whitney Smith was nice enough to come a take pictures of the little guy. Her skills are amazing and I must say Cooper being so good looking helps too.
Also, my awesome friend Kristin Gaul came and took some pictures too. Cooper was acting like such a model.
Can this little boy get any cuter? Personally I don't think so.

So I'm thinking that Cooper should be the next GAP baby. GAP babies are always super cute, i've noticed. And since Mr Cooper is so modelly, I believe he could have a future in modelling for GAP. I mean...maybe that's just me...but you know.....maybe.......
What a blessing for you two! I really loved reading your post and Marissa I can honestly picture you saying to Colin how hard it is, but you are such a strong woman so it doesn't surprise me in the least! Sending all of my love to the two of you and I hope I get to met your little addition sometime soon :)
Congrats Rissa! I am so happy for you. He is gorgeous.
So, so beautiful. He's a lucky little boy! I could definitely tell on Sunday that Colin LOVES being a Daddy! We're so, so happy for all three of you.
By the way, I wish I had your email because this is unrelated, but I'm curious to know your opinion of the play you're seeing tomorrow. We have a gift card to go to one play, and the Foreigner is one that I was kind of thinking about. If you love it, or hate it, let me know! Thanks. My email is heatherbyrd22@gmail.com
Best of luck as you continue to adjust! He sure is precious. So, so handsome!
What a cute little boy! I can't wait to see him person. I love his big eyes! What a sweetie.
Oh my goodness Marissa - Congratulations! I am so happy for you. He is adorable and so lucky to have you for his mom.
